First Grade

First grade was "all-day" school for Aidan at Phantom Lake. He started learning to read and do math. And he LOVED to draw. He still had recess buddies who played legos and/or worked on art projects.

He was diligent about doing his homework (see below). And by the end of the year, he was reading chapter books.

The last day of school this year at Phantom Lake was a Field Day. Aidan hadn't attended last year to avoid so much physical activity. But this year, he particulary wanted to go. So Papa John and Grandma Judy went and "shadowed" him to make sure he didn't overdo. Following are pictures of the day.

Kindergarten

Grandma Judy helped Aidan and his kindergarten classmates put on a puppet play last year. Aidan had fun making the puppet and being on stage.
